> CAMP HILL, PA. -- Former Rite Aid vice chairman and chief counsel Franklin Brown wants a new trial, arguing his conspiracy and obstruction conviction was tainted by secret recordings played to the jury. Brown said in a motion filed this week in federal district court that he has discovered new evidence to support his contention that the audiotapes and videotapes of six conversations between him and another executive "did not accurately capture those conversations."
