Paypal, eBay sued for breach of contract - Market Watch - by Stamps.com Inc - Brief Article

NEW YORK -- Stamps.com Inc., an online seller of postage stamps, has sued Web payment service PayPal Inc. and parent eBay Inc. The company claims that PayPal breached an agreement to launch a new service that would have allowed PayPal customers to buy and print postage online with Stamps.com technology.

The company is seeking $1.5 million in compensation for developing the technology for the service, as well as unspecified damages for the loss of future profits, according to a company executive.
