DSN Retailing Today, August 6, 2001

MINNEAPOLIS -- Best Buy announced it has signed up more than two million customers for MSN Internet Access on-line service, making Best Buy the leading retailer in connecting customers with Internet service. Best Buy began offering the MSN service in November 1999 and reached the two million MSN customer mark in June 2001.

Phil Schoonover, Best Buy executive vp of digital technology solutions, attributed this success to Best Buy's availability of complete packages that combine the newest technology with great service.
