In other Kmart news, the Associated Press reported that the retailer has slashed store hours at seven of its 110 super-centers and those stores are no longer open 24-hours. The stores will now be open 6 a.m. to midnight. The changes, effective July 8, are reportedly in response to slow traffic at these stores and the retailer's weak sales.
