Wolfcraft's Easy Cut Utility Cutter - Product Showcase - Brief Article - Product Announcement

DSN Retailing Today, August 12, 2002

Wolfcraft introduces the new Easy Cut Utility Cutter, a cutter used primarily for home maintenance projects, crafts and hobbies. The Easy Cut is designed like a hand-held garden pruner and uses standard utility knife blades. The cutter is designed to be able to slice through materials, such as cable, cord, rubber, hose, twine, wood and shrubs.

The Easy Cut's jaws can be opened anywhere from 1- to 1-1/2-inches-wide. Its safety features include textured non-slip handles, a retractable safety stop that prevents fingers from touching the cutting area and a latch that keeps the jaws closed, while the cutter is not in use. Changing the blade requires removal of the three screws on the top jar and removal of the cover. The grooves in the blade slide into stops on the tool to accurately place it before the cover is replaced and the screws are tightened. SRP $8. (630-773-4777 ext. 250, www.wolfcraft.com)
