MINNEAPOLIS -- Best Buy is sponsoring a free, outdoor concert featuring pop recording artist Sting on Sept. 12. The event, to be held in Central Park, coincides with Best Buy's plans to open its first 15 New York area stores. The company eventually plans to operate 40 New York area stores. In addition to distributing 25,000 free tickets, Best Buy is offering consumers nationwide a chance to win one of 15 trips to New York City with round trip airfare for two, two nights hotel and two tickets to the concert.
