Sherwin-Williams to add Martha Stewart - Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., Sherwin-Williams Co. extend marketing alliance - Brief Article

NEW YORK -- The Sherwin-Williams Company and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia agreed to extend a pilot program launched late last month through which Sherwin-Williams retail locations will be the exclusive carrier of a new color palette program consisting of 416 interior paint colors under the Martha Stewart Signature brand name.

The launch, which began Aug. 27 in four markets--Richmond, Va., Toledo, Ohio, northern Mississippi, and west Texas--will be extended nationally in spring 2002, according to a report by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. The new line represents an effort on the part of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia to extend its presence in paint to every major channel of distribution, according to the company's president and coo Sharon Patrick.
