Regional wholesaler Grocers Supply Co. has purchased Texas ethnic supermarket chain Fiesta Mart. Fiesta, founded in 1972, operates 50 supermarkets and 17 Beverage Mart liquor stores primarily targeting Hispanic shoppers. Annual revenue is estimated at $1 billion. Revenue for Grocers Supply, which distributes to about 700 stores in Texas and Louisiana, is pegged at $1.5 billion.
