DSN Retailing Today, Oct 11, 2004

WASHINGTON -- The Federal Reserve launched an overhauled $50 bill late last month as part of the government's ongoing program to enhance anti-counterfeit security features on all large-denomination bills. The new note includes subtle background colors of blue and red, images of a waving American flag and a small metallic silver-blue star.
