NEW YORK -- In a study performed by Media Metrix, visitors to auction sites during the first two weeks of Holiday 2000 increased by 49.8% and 62.3%, respectively, over corresponding weeks in 1999. The Holiday 2000 E-Commerce Series also revealed that the number of average daily unique visitors to auction sites during the first two weeks of the holiday season were 3 million and 3.1 million, respectively.
