Storms noted that the company can grow to plan based on cash flow. She said Gladstone sees the IPO as a way to reward hard-working employees and solidify the company's leadership as it accelerates growth toward the 1,000-store target.

Storms recently reiterated her faith in the Anna's concept that she expressed last year in a research note: "In our opinion, Anna's has a differentiated concept and is winning market share from the competition."
