FRAMINGHAM, MASS. - Staples chairman and Harvard graduate Tom Steinberg has shown his proclivity to hire fellow alumni again with the recent naming of Paul Gaffney as cio. Gaffney, currently a senior vp at Schwab Technology, also held several executive positions at Office Depot from 1995 through 1999.
