DSN Retailing Today, Nov 19, 2001

KANSAS CITY, MO. - This holiday season, Hallmark will combine its greeting card expertise with consumers' digital photos into custom-printed greeting cards. Photo Cards by Hallmark Stories, the new online service and product line from Hallmark launched in August 2001, gives consumers the ability to put their digital photos and personal message onto Hallmark greeting cards.

On HallmarkStories.com, prices will range from $1.50 per card to $3.25, depending on the card design and quantity ordered; cards are also offered in sets of 10. Special prices and ordering options also are available at Hallmark's partner site Walmart.com. Cards will be produced in three to five business days, and the site will be accepting orders for holiday cards through Dec. 19. Hallmark Stories is part of the company's growing memory-keeping business with products that include memory magazines and wallet-sized, foldable photo snap books.
