DSN Retailing Today, Nov 25, 2002

Since the birth of mass market retailing some 40 years ago, the profile of the industry's core customer has evolved considerably. But never before has understanding the ethnic market been as critical to a merchant's strategy as it is today. With this shift in mind, the editors of DSN Retailing Today will be increasing coverage of Ethnic Marketing in 2003, making it a regular component of the publication's consumer trends reporting.

Starting next year, we will be conducting Special Reports on Ethnic Marketing in at least three separate issues, including March 24, July 21 and November 24.
