Consumers in the Dallas market are faced with a wide range of pricing
options when food shopping for leading national brands. This exclusive
DSN Retailing Today, McMillan/Doolittle "Brand vs. Brand" in-store
pricing survey gauges the lowest-price options available to
brand-conscious food shoppers in the Dallas market. Armed with a list of
39 items, which were determined by Mcmillan Doolittle to constitute a
typical assortment of everyday items, DSN Retailing Today shopped five
leading food retailers in the market in search of their lowest-price
branded merchandise per product category. (In each category, the
low-price option is listed first.)
