Martha Stewart sells shares of MSLO - Market Watch - ValueAct Capital Partners buys stake in Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc - Brief Article

NEW YORK -- Martha Stewart sold 3 million shares of stock in Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. earlier this month to ValueAct Capital Partners, an investment firm. The deal, which was reportedly worth $45 million, represents approximately 9% of Stewart's personal holdings in the company and 6% of the company's outstanding shares, MSLO noted.

ValueAct paid $15 per share for the stock. In related news, Jeffrey Ubben, managing partner of ValueAct Capital, has been appointed to Martha Stewart Living's board of directors.
