NEW YORK -- Tim Craig was promoted to Editor of DSN Retailing Today, effective Jan. 1. In his new position, he will add the responsibility of external editorial representative to his current role as director of day-to-day editorial operations.

"Craig's top notch editorial skills combined with his understanding of retail trends will contribute to DSN Retailing Today's position as the leading publication in the retail industry" said Tony Lisanti, editorial director and associate publisher.

Since joining Lebhar-Friedman in 1996, Craig has held various editorial positions, including Senior Desk Editor, Managing Editor and most recently Executive Editor.

NEWYORK -- Mike Troy has been named Senior Editor, Special Projects for the Lebhar-Friedman Group.

In this newly created position, his core strengths as a reporter for all aspects of WalMart, Sam's Club, Eckerd and International retailing, as well as coverage of office superstores and sporting goods retailers, will cross over to DSN Retailing Today's sister retail publications, including Drug Store News, Home Channel News and Chain Store Age.

In addition, Troy will play a more active role in the development, planning and writing of special issues and other opportunistic projects and stories for DSN Retailing Today.

NEW YORK -- Linda Saucerman was promoted to Senior Desk Editor. In this new position, she will oversee all aspects of production for the DSN Retailing Today copy desk, including copy flow, line editing and page layout.

Saucerman will also take on additional macro editing responsibilities, specifically helping to manage content for the category pages of the core publication.
