HOFFMAN ESTATES, ILL -- Sears, Roebuck and Co. reported net income of $378 million for the fourth quarter ended Jan. 1, compared with net income of $2.7 billion in the same period of 2003. The prior year's results include the results of the domestic Credit and Financial Products and National Tire & Battery businesses divested in the fourth quarter of 2003.
