SEATTLE -- Amazon got into the romantic spirit earlier this month with the launch of a wedding registry feature on St. Valentine's Day. The new service offers the standard features of other on-line gift registries and marks the third time in the past three months that Amazon.com has upgraded its home page.

Other recent site enhancements include the launch in December of a shopping site specifically designed for the visually impaired, and a new Amazon Credit Account feature launched in November.
