Photo Marketing Association - Industry News - Distinguished Service Awards - Brief Article

The Photo Marketing Association will honor five industry members with Distinguished Service Awards when it gathers this week in Orlando for the annual convention and trade show. This award is given each year to individuals whose lifelong dedication to the photo imaging industry has contributed to the betterment of the industry as a whole.

Paul Boles began his career during high school and currently serves as a consultant to the industry. William DiMiano has worked for several manufacturers and is currently senior vp and general manager of Fujifilm's photo imaging group. Gerald Dingley began working at Rank Photo in the United Kingdom and still serves as chairman of the British Photographic and Imaging Association. John Jackson founded Jackson Camera, now part of the Ritz Camera chain, and remains a member of PMA. William Stelcher started out as a high school photographer and designed the first of the StaticVac film cleaners in 1984.
