The Home Depot kicked off a new national advertising campaign last month that plays up customer service rather than price. The new ads carry the theme, "The Home Depot is more than a store. You can do it. We can help." The campaign, developed by Richards Group of Dallas, comes amid intense competition from rival Lowe's and a softening of sales and profits in recent months.
