As it emerges, the new company will be reorganized around the Eddie Bauer division of Spiegel Inc. under the name of a new parent company, Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc. The Eddie Bauer brand, headquartered in Redmond, Wash., has proven a corporate strength in terms of direct and store-based retail as well as licensing.
