Circuit City has established a memorial trust for the eight people who perished in the crash of one of the company's private planes on Feb. 16.
The twin-engine plane crashed shortly before 9 a.m. as it approached Pueblo Memorial Airport near Pueblo, Colo., killing all aboard including four Circuit City employees, two representatives of vendor companies, the pilot and co-pilot.
"To honor their memories ... Circuit City has established memorial funds to benefit the family of each victim. The eight funds ... are underwritten by Circuit City and [the company] also will accept memorial gifts," said chairman and ceo, Alan McCollough.
