Polaroid has begun a global restructuring plan to reduce overhead, realign resources and accelerate implementation of its digital strategy. Its workforce has been reduced by approximately 11%, or 950 employees. The program is expected to be complete in about 12 months, saving approximately $60 million on an annual basis.
