Imerge Consulting Group LLC - digital camera sales - Brief Article - Statistical Data Included

DSN Retailing Today, March 6, 2001

A report from Imerge Consulting Group LLC asserts that U.S. consumer digital camera sales cooled from 79.3% growth in 1999 to 51.4% in 2000, with 3.8 million units sold that generated over $1.8 billion in street revenues. The downturn of sales occurred in August through October and picked back up in November and December, primarily due to incentives at retail.

However, the increase was not enough to positively effect the overall growth rate.
