Wal-Mart - Retailer News - launches consumer education campaign - Brief Article

DSN Retailing Today, March 25, 2002

Wal-Mart has launched a consumer education campaign to promote digital print services aimed at making the transition from film to digital as easy as possible. A recent press release featured tips from Dave Rogers, vp of One-Hour Photo, on ways to get prints from digital media or to turn traditional prints into digital images, directing consumers to walmart.com to learn about digital cameras and upload images to a personal account.

Rogers and Wal-Marts message is clear: "The advances in photo technology have made some film camera owners feel left behind and many digital camera owners wondering what they've gotten themselves into," he said.
