In its fiscal 2002 fourth quarter, Cost Plus opened six stores, one each in Redding, Calif., Atlanta, Normal, Ill., New Orleans, Minneapolis and Seattle. The company opened a total of 25 net new stores in the 2002 fiscal year, and it has announced the locations of the first four stores it plans to debut in fiscal 2003: Rockford, Ill., Charlotte, N.C., Tracy, Calif., and Dallas.
