> NEW YORK -- Online advertising spending in the United States, which dropped 11% in 2001, is expected to make a comeback in 2002 and climb 11%, according to a report released today by eMarketer, a New York-based publisher of Internet and e-business information for marketing professionals. The report, "Online Advertising: Statistics, Strategies, Projections & Trends Report," also explains that, in order for the online ad industry to reach its potential, the complexity of pricing models and ad-size standards needs to be addressed.
