First Abercrombie & Fitch toned down its racy advertising, then Wal-Mart jettisoned risque men's magazines from its shelves. Now, Victoria's Secret has decided not to air its popular annual lingerie runway show, in part due to the FCC's clampdown in the wake of Janet Jackson's scandalous SuperBowl performance.

However, parent company Limited Brands stated that it would rather spend its dollars on fourth quarter holiday advertising, another reason it pulled the show.
