Investment specialist Gregory Shay has joined Intercontinental Real Estate as chief investment officer

Investment specialist Gregory Shay has joined Intercontinental Real Estate as chief investment officer. Shay now supervises investments by the firm's Intercontinental Real Estate Fund III and IV, which have $1.8 billion of buying power. Fund III employs a core-plus strategy, while Fund IV follows a value-added approach.
Both focus on Boston-area properties. Shay was previously president of CJ Europe, the European division of Corcoran Jennison Cos.
