Kevin Dretzka has resigned from his longtime job as a managing director in Eastdil Realty's Los Angeles office to make private-equity investments with his own money
Real Estate Alert, March 17, 2004
Kevin Dretzka has resigned from his longtime job as a managing director in Eastdil Realty's Los Angeles office to make private-equity investments with his own money. Dretzka's departure from the real estate business didn't surprise competing brokers. "He has a lot of interests outside real estate," said one broker, referring to Dretzka's seats on the boards of directors for various organizations.
Eastdil probably won't replace Dretzka, since it still has three managing directors in Los Angeles and company president Roy March is an active player there. San Francisco-based managing director Jeff Weber can also assist with Eastdil's Los Angeles listings.
