PRODUCT INTROS : ETI to Support SQL Server - ETIExtract DBMS - Brief Article - Product Announcement

ENT, August 18, 1999

Evolutionary Technologies International Inc. (ETI) added Microsoft Corp.'s SQL Server to its stable of supported platforms for data cleansing and extraction, transformation and loading (ETL). ETI's flagship tool is ETI*Extract, which relies on modular Data System Libraries (DSLs) to support the cleansing and ETL functions. Daman Consulting (www.damanconsulting.com) helped ETI develop the DSL for C/SQL Server. The DSL will permit data migration between SQL Server legacy systems also supported by ETI, including IMS, VSAM and IDMS.
