Heroix announced that its RoboMon software is now compliant with Microsoft's SQL Server 2000. New in the product is an agent for monitoring and managing SQL Server 2000 -- including support for multiple SQL Server instances. This capability extends to SQL Server 7.0, as well.

RoboMon can monitor the database in any size environment. To keep track of availability and performance, the product monitors basic operations, performance criteria, the overall health of the database, and criteria specific to each version of SQL Server. After checking the system, RoboMon can diagnose and correct the problem, or bring them to the attention of the database administrator.
