Veritas Updates Remote Storage for Exchange

ENT, Feb 26, 2001

Veritas Software added features to its Remote Storage for Exchange to fully support the new functionality in Exchange 2000.

Remote Storage for Exchange 2.0 can move old attachments from server storage to a secondary storage device, such as a tape library. This helps administrators keep primary storage available for new mail messages.

Remote Storage for Exchange now integrates with Veritas' latest release of its data protection software, NetBackup and BackupExec. Veritas considers these three products elements of its Veritas Protection Suite for Microsoft Exchange -- Datacenter.
