Sophos Offers Free Anti-virus Software - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article

In response to the proposed acquisition by Network Associates Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif., www.nai.com) of Dr. Solomon's Group PLC (Aylesbury, U.K., www.drsolomon.com), Sophos Inc.

(Woburn, Mass., www.sophos. com) announced that it would make its anti-virus product available to corporate users of both Network Associates' and Dr. Solomon's anti-virus software free of charge. The offer is good for corporate users based in North America, who bought licenses before the takeover. Customers of Network Associates and Dr. Solomon's should register with Sophos before August 31, 1998. Sophos will then honor any remaining contracts until June 1, 1999.
