An article in the July/August 1960 OR Nursing outlines five factors to be considered when planning an OR suite: good patient care, infection control, control of personnel, convenient handling of materials, and efficiency of operation. * A report in "Clinical Briefs" claims people under stress are apt to do things the way they first learned them, even if it is more difficult than using newly learned methods. * "Behind the OR Mask" salutes an AORN member who will provide medical treatment and education aboard a traveling navy ship in project "Hope"--part of President Eisenhower's new cooperative health program.
