Other Tuesday sessions. Be sure to join your perioperative colleagues on Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 to 5 PM for the Jerry G. Peers Lectureship, "Get A Life!," presented by Amanda Gore. A General Session speaker, Debra J. Crumpton, MBA, will present a session of interest to managers titled "Meeting the New World Leadership Challenge," from 5:15 to 6:15 PM on Tuesday.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR MANAGERS

Certification Board Perioperative Nursing (CBPN) is pleased to offer the CNOR and certified RN first assistant certification examinations at the 2002 AORN Congress. The examinations will be held at the Hilton Anaheim, across the street from the convention center, on Saturday, April 20. The tests will be given as written examinations. AORN Congress and pre-Congress registrants will receive a 10% discount off the regular examination fee with proof of registration, for a savings of $25.

Managers who attend Congress and bring two or more nurses to sit for the examination can pick up a $50 check from the CBPN booth located in the registration area of the convention center. This is CBPN's thank you for promoting certification among your staff members. Please be sure to enter your name in the appropriate place on the test application.
