AORN Journal, Jan, 2002 by Marilyn L. Sanderson

As the Congress volunteer coordinator and on behalf of all California volunteers, I would like to welcome you to Anaheim, Calif, for Congress 2002. Perioperative nurses from around the state are honored to host the 49th annual Congress. Volunteers will be working to make your week an exciting one. They will help you locate education sessions and exhibits, guide you to food and fun, and make sure your experience includes a warm California welcome. It often is said that California is a paradise with its blue skies, warm beaches, and endless days of sunshine. Experience this paradise firsthand while enjoying unsurpassed educational oppommities.

Volunteers will be wearing bright, multicolored tropical shirts. They also will be sporting Congress 2002 pins, volunteer badges, and California tans. Join your professional colleagues and friends for an educational experience that is sure to rekindle your passion for the OR and complete your circles of care.
