The Nominating Committee is composed of five members who are elected each year by the House of Delegates at Congress. They work together to prepare and present an annual slate of candidates for national office.
They also act as tellers for the election at Congress. The immediate AORN past President serves as the advisor for this committee. The chair is elected by members of the Committee.
At the 2002 Congress, delegates will elect three new members to the Nominating Committee. Two members continue in their two-year terms to provide continuity.
Members of the Nominating Committee will be wearing lavender ribbons at Congress. Candidates will be wearing light green ribbons at Congress.
