MONDAY, MARCH 22
GAS LIGHTS, CITY SIGHTS: GASLAMP QUARTER, DINNER AT DICK'S LAST RESORT, AND MISSION BAY COCKTAIL CRUISE--6 TO 11 PM, Your motor coach travels first to the Gaslamp Quarter, named for the signature lighting still lining the streets. Visit the home of William Heath Davis, the area's first occupant, then continue with a walking tour of the area where notables such as Wyatt Earp and Alonzo Horton provided a colorful chapter in history. Next, hang onto your hat as you enjoy dinner at Dick's Last Resort, where you are "ordered" to have a good time. After dinner, you are treated to a one-hour cruise of Mission Bay aboard the romantic Bahia Belle paddle wheeler, with a full bar and live music on board. Preregistration is $68 per guest and includes dinner at Dick's Last Resort. Comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket are recommended. Valid identification will be required for the cocktail cruise. Space is limited, so register early.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24
TAKIN' IT TO TJ: WITH A MARGARITA AND DINNER IN A TIJUANA RESTAURANT--6 TO 10:30 PM. Tijuana is a bargain hunter's dream, allowing each person to bring back duty-free items that usually are 20% to 70% less than US prices. You will find treasures such as hand-crafted leather goods, designer perfumes, cosmetics, jewelry and watches, cashmere, carpets, luggage, and toys. Shop until you almost drop, then enjoy a tasty margarita as you enter a lively Tijuana eatery for authentic Mexican cuisine. Preregistration is $53 per guest and includes a light snack during the trip to the border and a margarita and dinner in a Tijuana restaurant. Valid identification is required, and photo identification is strongly suggested. If you are a citizen of another country or may appear to be a citizen of another country, please bring a valid passport as well. Cash is best for bargaining with Tijuana merchants; however, it is strongly suggested that you watch your purse and belongings when visiting any foreign country.

ENCHANTED ISLAND: CORONADO--9:30 AM TO 12:30 PM. Enjoy your trip to the crown jewel of San Diego--lovely Coronado Island, considered by many to be the ultimate island getaway. Spend time exploring the central shopping district complete with bookstores, bistros, boutiques, and even a "mom and pop" drugstore. At the end of the avenue, you see the majestic Hotel del Coronado, a legendary landmark full of history, haunting, and romance appropriate to her grand Victorian architecture. The hotel boasts her own tragic ghost and a cameo role in Some Like It Hot. Preregistration is $23 per guest.
