Applicants must show evidence of 30 contact hours earned between May 1, 1979 and May 1, 1984. * An article states that the risk of dying from pulmonary embolus is twice as great today as it was 29 years ago. 'Ibis may be due in part to advances in medicine that allow complex surgery on patients who previously would not have been surgical candidates.
