Liver transplantation offers an alternative for patients facing life-threatening complications secondary to end-stage liver disease. This session will explore the latest trends in the field of adult and pediatric transplantation, including indications for liver transplantation, donor and recipient selection, perioperative nursing considerations, the surgical procedure, potential complications, and key aspects of a successful program.
