AORN Public Policy Conference and Advocacy Day 2004

This event is designed to promote AORN's legislative priorities by allowing members to meet directly with elected representatives in the US Congress. The two-day event features education sessions that focus on effective lobbying, informational displays about public policy, and a trip to Capitol Hill for face to face visits with members of Congress and their staff members. Building Financial Skirts for Perioperative Managers

If you are an OR manager, these management seminars will provide you with additional knowledge, enhance your skills, and confirm current processes while giving you new tools with which to work. If you are a staff nurse who wants to move into a managerial role, these seminars will provide you with information you need to climb the career ladder and establish a network of resources to help you move into your new position.
Topics for this seminar include financial terminology, capital and operational budgets, budget preparation, full-time equivalent calculations, variance control, capital justifications, monthly financial reports, and using financial reports to measure efficiency and performance and plan for the future.
