Key nursing books available at the AORN Congress Perioperative Bookstore: Saturday, March 29, to Thursday, April 3, 2008

A wide variety of recommended perioperative nursing books will be available for purchase by Congress attendees at AORN's Perioperative Bookstore in the Arena Lobby of the Anaheim Convention Center. From clinical and practice issues to leadership and management, reference information, and inspirational texts, the bookstore has a title to meet your professional needs. Some titles that will be available include the following:

* The 2008 edition of AORN's Perioperative Standards and Recommended Practices--the newest in the annual series will keep you abreast of the many changes affecting your profession. The CD-ROM version offers all the features and benefits of an electronic format such as the ability to copy and paste, print, search, and more.

* Perioperative Nursing Data Set (PNDS)--the newly-released, revised second edition will guide you through implementing the PNDS in your workplace to improve clinical documentation, enhance efficiency, and streamline communication with other health care professionals.

* RNFA Guide to Practice--the newly-released third edition contains practical suggestions and strategies to help RN first assistants advance their careers.

On-site pricing includes the AORN member discount, and special package prices will be available on select titles.

The bookstore also will offer AORN logo items including an array of logo-line apparel. AORN Foundation ornaments and pins are always a favorite--don't miss this year's design selected by AORN President Mary Jo Steiert, RN, BSN, CNOR.

CONGRESS SPEAKER BOOKS. Selected publications from prominent Congress speakers will be available for purchase. Take time to browse these popular and affordable titles.
