FEB 2007, VOL 85, No 2, page 261. In the Editorial "Tuberculosis is making a comeback," a referenced article incorrectly quoted the number of persons with tuberculosis (TB) in the United States in the year 2001. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 13,767 US cases of TB were reported to the CDC for 2006 (1(p245)) and "an estimated 10 to 15 million Americans have latent TB infection and have the potential to develop TB disease in the future."
