FAN Distinguished Member for 2000 - Kay Mowery - Brief Article

The FAN Awards Committee is pleased to announce that Kay Mowery, branch librarian at the Georgia Experiment Station Library, University of Georgia, is the FAN Distinguished Member for 2000. Mowery has been very active in SLA for many years, serving on the Nominating Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Committee on Committees, and as chair of the Bylaws Committee.
On the chapter level, she has held several position including president of the Sierra Nevada Chapter, and is currently involved in the upcoming Southeastern Regional Conference.
