SmartImage Sensors

Automotive Manufacturing & Production,  Nov, 2000

The DVT Series 600 SmartImage Sensor is a self-contained, standalone vision inspection sensor offering Ethernet connectivity. The onboard TCP/IP Ethernet communications makes setup, monitoring and maintenance of multiple cameras a snap. in fact, you can connect and monitor all of your DVT systems from your office PC or the Internet. You can also store failed images on your plant network via TCP/IP Ethernet for later view and analysis.

DVT sensors deliver simplicity and ease-of-use without sacrificing the flexibility normally associated with high-end machine vision systems. Series 600 Sensors incorporate all the inspection algorithms within the hardware, resulting in a very user-friendly vision system: you won't need someone to write special code; a PC is used only during setup; inspection parameters are easily and intuitively defined using FrameWork's powerful SoftSensors; once an inspection or series of inspections are defined, the stand-alone SmartImage Sensor System is ready to go to work.
