TAKISAWA (Buffalo Grove, IL) has added a new, more affordable turning system to its line, the Model T-200. The T-200 is a single-turret, single spindle, gantry-loaded, pallet fed turning system based on the TAKISAWA Model TT-200. Features include a single 15-hp Fanuc powered spindle with an 8 in.

Kitagawa N-8 chuck; 10 position turret; three finger gantry loaded with 16 pallet feeder, and a rear discharge chip conveyor. A single Fanuc 2liT controller controls the system. The T-200 can turn blanks up to 6.3 in. in diameter, 3.94 in. in length and up to 9 lbs with a load-to-load time of 13 sec.
