Network marketing for multi-plex income - la moda de comercio nacional - TA: the national marketing trend

Hispanic Times Magazine, Dec, 1996

It is not a new concept, but it is perhaps one of the most exciting trends in business today. It is called national marketing (NM) and it has finally gained respectability. In fact, it is now a multi-billion dollar industry.

National marketing industries with which you may be familiar are Amway and Mary Kay Cosmetics. What exactly, is NM? It starts with a manufacturer who has a product line that it wishes to market to consumers -- but it wants to bypass the cost of millions of dollars of marketing expense to introduce a new product.

One of the real giants of network marketing is Cell Tech, founded by Harvard-trained-scientist-turned-entrepreneur Daryl Kollman, and his wife Marta. Cell Tech's product is a line of "superfood" nutritionals centered on a wild blue-green algae native to Klamath Lake, California.

Today, with more than 350,000 distributors and a staff of about 700 employees, Cell Tech prides itself as a network marketing project that began with the motivation to help improve the health of family and friends.

The best asset that anyone brings to NM is his personality, his knowledge of the company, and his desire to be successful.

NM is a people business, and one's "network of contacts" is the name of the game. This business concept is also called network marketing -- as you are building your own organization.

People who make it in this business concept must put forth energy, effort, and concentration to build a following. Network marketing is not for everyone. Before you commit yourself, do enough homework to decide if it's for you. If you come to a positive conclusion -- then get out your prospect list, your goal sheet, your books and tapes and all of your enthusiasm -- and go for it! For more information call (800)862-9605.
