EAM Introduces DVD-PAC for Automating Slip Sheet Insertion
EAM Inc. calls its new DVD-PAC "the ideal solution for packaging polypropylene albums that are currently popular for DVD retail packages." The system aims to automate one of the most time-consuming operations in manual DVD packaging lines, slip sheet insertion, with the SS1-20 automatic slip sheet inserter. Operators present an open album to the SS1-20, and it does the rest. The system also includes the DF-20 disc leveling device, with which discs are presented to packing personnel at one position relative to the conveyor line. Installed in combination with EAM's gravity feed carton conveyor and EAM's variable-speed album conveyor, the DVD-PAC offers a complete DVD packaging solution.
